Rochester Wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Macedonian Soccer Club from Rochester, NY won the 31st annual North American Macedonian Convention Soccer tournament on September 2nd, 2001 in Buffalo, NY. This was the team's 2nd Convention Title, the last one coming in 1977 in Hamilton, ON. The team finished the weekend with a 4-1 record. They lost to Markham the day before the final 4-0, but won their next 4 games, beating Buffalo 4-0, Canton 8-0, New Jersey 2-0 in the semifinal, and Markham in the final 2-1. Team members include: Vic Lazarevski, Alex Vlatkovic, Lucas Valajcovski, Marjan Markovski, Steven Mojsovski, Nick Mojsovski, Alex Babamovski, Igor Kasovski, Steve Cukalevski, Klime Strezoski, Ivan Tanaskoski, Matt Malcos, Dan Malcos, (coach) Risto Rapesovski and (president) Vlado Kominovski.
